Dams To Be Checked After Small Quake In South Carolina
COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers plans a thorough review today of two dams on the Savannah River after a small earthquake shook some residents of Georgia and South Carolina.
The corps says the dams appear to be fine.
The quake late yesterday had a preliminary magnitude of 4.1. No damage or injuries have been reported.
