The dry weather is making life difficult on the state's cattle industry.

Louisiana Cattlemen's Association President Wesley Ridgell says they are having a hard time finding enough hay to feed their animals.  Ridgell says the drought is making it more costly to feed cattle. That expense could be passed on to the consumer. He says they could use more rain in the worst way.  Ridgell says the cattlemen's association is trying to provide assistance when it comes to providing more feed.
