Eunice Teen Struck By Train
A teen in Eunice is suffering from minor injuries after he was hit by a train over the weekend.
Eunice Police Chief Ronald Dies told KATC-TV 3 that the 14-year-old boy was "either texting or playing on his cell phone and didn't realize he was so close to the train."
"It was a stupid mistake," Dies told the television station. "I hope he learned his lesson."
The teen is believed to be suffering from a broken arm.
