Fast Food Parking Lot Murder Suspect Arrested

Last night at around 7 o'clock, a man was gunned down in the parking lot of a fast food restaurant on Admiral Doyle Drive.

Authorities say they have arrested 17-year-old Jorie Walker of New Iberia as the person that Iberia Parish Sheriff's investigators believe is the person responsible for the shooting.

Deputies say when they responded to the parking lot of the restaurant 20-year-old Levonne Johnson had been shot multiple times.

Jorie has now been arrested on homicide charges.

Investigators say the Walker believed that Johnson was responsible for stealing some of Walker's personal items.

The confrontation between the two turned deadly.
