Former Arnaudville Police Chief Dies In Motorcycle Crash

A former chief of police for the town Arnaudville was killed in a motorcycle crash Monday night.

KATC-TV 3 reported Michael Duplechain lost control in the roundabout on Hector Connoly Road, hit a curb, and was then thrown from his bike. He died at a local hospital, the television station reported.

Duplechain served as police chief from 1995 to 2003.

Funeral arrangements for Duplechain are still pending.
