Former State Representative Mickey Frith Passes Away

Former Vermilion Parish State Representative and educator Mickey Frith died last night after a long illness.

Frith was 71. Vincent Funeral Home in Kaplan is in charge of funeral arrangements.

Frith leaves behind his wife, Millie, along with three sons and multiple grandchildren.

Mickey Frith was was an educator who taught from 1964 through 1988.

He was also a former coach as well as assistant principal, and he served as a principal from 1989 to 1990.

After retiring from the education field, Frith was a State Representative for a portion of Vermilion Parish between 1995 and 2007.
