Franklin Man Arrested For Fraud After Pretending To Help Someone Get A Job

Back in November the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office got a complaint from a victim claiming that 25-year-old Dale Simoneaux took his money to help him get a job, and he got duped instead.

A deputy says the victim gave Simoneaux $500 on two separate occasions for "training" classes that were needed for the victim to get the job.

When the victim went to meet Simoneaux at the specified location to go to the training classes, Simoneaux never showed, and the man was out his $1000.

Simoneaux was arrested Saturday at his home at 10799 Highway 182 in Franklin.
