We have over 400 festivals each year here in Louisiana, and sometimes it's hard to choose a favorite. But French Quarter Festival always has a soft spot in my heart. The festival was moved this year due to the NCAA Final Four basketball tournament, which is scheduled for April 3-5. The free outdoor music festival originally scheduled for April 2-5 will now be held on April 16-19, just a few days ahead of New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, which is April 23 - May 3 this year.

French Quarter Fest has over 300 acts on 25 different stages located throughout one of New Orleans' most historic neighborhoods. The festival made their annual video announcement recently, and you can see who's performing below. And it's always good to see some Acadiana artists on the bill.
