Fugitive Arrested In Jeanerette

A fugitive is no longer on the run anymore.

Iberia Sheriff PIO Major Ryan Turner says his office, working with the US Marshal's Office Violent Offenders Task Force in Lafayette, have arrested 45-year-old Tommy Carson Sr. for outstanding warrants issued by St. Mary Parish. After officers found him at a home in Jeanerette, Carson was booked into the Iberia Parish Jail on warrants for felony parole violation, armed robbery and failure to appear for possession of Cocaine with intent to distribute.

He's currently awaiting extradition to the St. Mary Parish Jail.
