Animal rights activists haven't been happy about a 10-year-old Siberian Bengal tiger that's been on display at a Grosse Tete truck stop. But the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries has issued a permit that will allow Tony the Tiger to stay through 2011. LDWF spokesperson Bo Boegringer says state and local animal control authorities will make visits to the truck stop. Boegringer says the owner of the Tiger will have to apply for another permit next year.
