Gulf Coast Beaches Closed Due to Tropical Storm Cindy
As we know, much of the gulf coast is currently experiencing the effects of Tropical Storm Cindy. Among the many impacted involves the vacation hot spot beaches along the coast.
Double red flags were posted yesterday and should remain for a couple of days from Gulf Shores and Orange Beach in Alabama all the way to Panama City Beach, Florida
The double red flags mean that the water is off limits. According to the National Weather Service, dangerous rip currents have been reported along the panhandle.
While this storm is no doubt reeking havoc on thousands of vacationers along the gulf coast, authorities want everyone to heed the warnings. The water is off limits to swimming, wading, floating or other entry. Violators will face fines or jail.
