Hazardous Materials Crash In Calcasieu Parish

Louisiana State Police I Spokesperson Brooks David confirms that Troop D is investigating a car crash with an overturned 18 wheeler.

The crash happened on Louisiana Highway 27 South of Interstate 10 In Sulphur.

The overturned vehicle has a small leak of Ethanol.

Hazardous Material Experts from State Police along with Sulphur Fire and Carlyss Fire officials are on the scene.

Highway 27 South of Interstate 10 all the way to Louisiana Highway 108 will be closed for several hours.
