BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — The state Department of Transportation and Development says the right lane of U.S. 90 westbound, between Venetian Isles and Textron Marine and Land Systems in New Orleans, is closed due to high tidal waters.

DOTD is also monitoring U.S. Highway 11. Currently, water is on the shoulder between Irish Bayou and the flood gate at the Hurricane Levee Crossing.

Transportation officials urge drivers to use extra caution and will advise when U.S. 90 westbound reopens to traffic.
