Texting while driving is as dangerous as driving drunk, yet more than a third of teens think it's no big deal, according to onlineschools.com. Distracted drivers kill 8 people and injure more than a thousand every day in the US, according to a CNN report.
So, how do we stop our teens from texting while driving?
One important step is to set an example. We can tell our kids repeatedly not to do something. If they see us do it, the rhetoric goes in one ear & out the other.
Don't let them see you doing it.
