How Far Away from your Boss Do You Have To Go To Relax?
When I take a vacation, I like to get out of the state, preferably out of the time zone, too. That's apparently what you need to do before you can truly relax on vacation. A survey, reported by SWNS Digital, indicates workers don't feel like they're untethered from their job until they're at least 1,000 miles away. Half of the respondents said they've checked their work email from a hotel room. One in four has checked it while poolside. One of my favorite vacations is to return to my childhood home in the Adirondack region of upstate New York. It's about 1,300 miles from where I currently reside in Lafayette, La. I'm an AT&T wireless customer. The Adirondack Park is a 2 million acre AT&T "dead zone."...YAY!!!
