I-10 bridge To Be Closed In Calcasieu Parish

The I-10 bridge across the Calcasieu River will be closed to all traffic from 9 p.m.- 5 a.m. tomorrow and Wednesday so crews can remove concrete barriers and open all lanes to traffic.

State Department of Transportation district administrator Steve Jiles said eastbound lanes will be closed tomorrow night and westbound lanes will be closed Wednesday night.

Through traffic will be directed to Interstate 210 as a detour during the closure.

All lanes on the I-10 bridge will be open between Thursday Dec. 22 and Jan. 3.
