Iberia Parish To Conduct Aerial Mosquito Spraying This Week

With the mosquito population on the rise Iberia Parish will begin aerial spraying Wednesday and Thursday evenings. Loreauville, Sugar Oaks, Jeanerette, Coteau and the surrounding areas will be targeted to address elevated floodwaters and permanent mosquito populations. Spraying will start near sunset and continue for about two and a half hours.

Hypersensitive individuals are asked to remain inside and everyone should avoid looking up or attempt to follow the path of spraying aircraft.
