Infant Death In Iberia Parish

Iberia Parish Sheriff Louis Ackal says his detectives were called to an area hospital after a two month old infant died.  This report of the little baby girl's death was reported earlier this week, and an autopsy has now been conducted.  Detectives say that the report showed that the baby's death was ruled a homicide.

Detectives have been interviewing witnesses and people involved with the child.  No arrests have been made at this time, but authorities say they expect some in the near future.
