Louisiana Residents Advised to NOT Travel to These 9 Places

The United States Department of State frequently reviews travel advisories based on a variety of risk concerns, including health, terrorism, and civil instability. Travel alert levels can also alter due to a variety of issues within a country, such as growing civil unrest, human rights-related legislation, or increased risks of wrongful imprisonment.

The travel advisory levels vary from Level 1, which means take regular precautions, to Level 4, which means do not travel there. According to U.S. News, crime, kidnapping, and terrorism are common risk factors in Level 4 countries. Traveling to these locations may offer major risks to Louisiana residents who do not follow the warning.
