BATON ROUGE, La. - If you've ever walked through The 13th Gate in Baton Rouge and thought, "I could totally do that," now might be your chance.

One of Louisiana's most famous haunted attractions, and one of the most famous in America, is getting ready for another Halloween season, and The 13th Gate is holding auditions and interviews for its 2026 season.

The 13th Gate is looking for actors, sales team members, makeup artists, hairstylists and crew members for the upcoming 2026 season.

13th Gate Auditions Are Coming Up In Baton Rouge

The 13th Gate will hold multiple rounds of interviews and auditions at the haunted house in Baton Rouge.

The dates currently listed for the 2026 13th Gate auditions are -

Friday, August 28: 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Saturday, August 29: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday, August 30: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Friday, September 4: 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Saturday, September 5: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday, September 6: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

You don't need an appointment either, just show up at The 13th Gate during one of the scheduled audition times, fill out an application and wait to be called for your interview or audition.

Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

What Jobs Are Available At The 13th Gate?

The 13th Gate says it is looking for several different types of workers for the 2026 season, including actors, sales team members, makeup artists, hairstylists and crew members.

You Have To Be At Least 18

To apply for one of the jobs at The 13th Gate for 2026 Season, you'll have to be at least 18 years of age, bring your I.D., have reliable transportation, and have an email address.

The 13th Gate says applicants have a better chance of being hired if they are available to work all or most of the scheduled operating dates.

When Does The 13th Gate Open For 2026?

The 2026 season is scheduled to kick off in September, with additional dates throughout October.

The attraction's currently listed operating dates include September 25 and 26, followed by numerous dates throughout October. The season also includes Flashlight Fright Nights on November 6 and 7. You can check the full list of dates over at 13thgate.com.
