The loungers in question are from CooCooBaby, and they have been sold online via Amazon. The Consumer Product Safety Commission is advising that some 2,355 units of this product be recalled. For consumers who already have the product in their home or where they care for children, there has been an urgent request that you stop using the products immediately.

What Is The Reason for the Amazon CooCooBaby Lounger Recall?

According to the advisory from CPSC, the recalled baby loungers are not in compliance with mandatory safety standards for infant sleep products. According to the recall notice, the loungers do not comply with minimum sight height requirements.

The loungers were also found to violate the safety standards for thickness. In this case, while the sides of the lounger are too short, the thickness of the sides is too big. This is where the suffocation risk comes into play.

There are also concerns that the lounger's design could allow a child to fall out of the lounger or become entrapped in the lounger. There were also other concerns noted about the lack of a stand, which posed an additional fall hazard.

How Do I Get a Replacement Product or Refund From CooCooBaby?

The recalled loungers were sold on Amazon and on CooCooBabyOfficial.com between December 2024 and March 2026. The cost of the loungers ranged from $35 to $70. For refund and replacement product information, contact CooCooBaby at  support@coocoobabyofficial.com
