(KMDL-FM) The food-centric website Tasting Table has released another unique list featuring restaurants in every state. The most recent offering from Tasting Table curates a list of restaurants known for great food, but that also feature an incredible view while you enjoy your meal and drinks.

The choice for Louisiana's best restaurant with a view is Chemin à la Mer. It features culinary creations by a James Beard Award-winning chef, Donald Link. Link and his culinary team specialize in local seafood creations cooked with a combination of French and Southern Louisiana influences.

What is Louisiana's Best Restaurant With a View?

Chemin à la Mer is located in the Four Seasons Hotel in New Orleans. The "view" that captured the attention of Tasting Table and its editors comes from the 5th floor of that hotel, which is located at 2 Canal Street in New Orleans.

From the restaurant's dining room, guests can watch the Mississippi River roll on by and experience some of the best sunset views available in the Greater New Orleans Area. If you visit Chemin a la Mer's Facebook page, they have some wonderful photographs of the river and the view.

Of course, if you're like me, you might be just as enamored to stare at your plate and grab the view from the kitchen because the fare on offer from Chemin a la Mer seems to be perfectly suited for someone who can appreciate Louisiana seafood prepared in the most amazing ways possible.

The oyster bar features a Seafood Tower which includes steamed mussels, Ceviche, half a dozen oysters, and Louisiana shrimp. For breakfast, you might choose boudin stuffed beignets or buttermilk pancakes.
