The suspect then fled the store to a car waiting nearby, firing another round at an individual that was parked outside of the Dollar General store.

The suspect then exited the store and ran to a vehicle that was parked at the business located just south of Dollar General. While the suspect was running to the vehicle, he pointed his weapon at an individual that was parked in the parking lot and fired one round at the individual parked in the Dollar General parking lot.

The armed robbery suspect exited the nearby parking lot and was headed north on LA-89 (the Youngsville Highway). According to law enforcement, the suspect was followed by a witness in the Dollar General parking lot who managed to obtain the license plate of the getaway vehicle.
