The high-energy cycling studio has been a community staple in the Lafayette area for eight years. Known for providing a welcoming and upbeat environment, the staff has curated a cycling community that will surely miss taking classes every week with their Cycle Bar family.

The announcement came from a social media post from one of the instructors. Thanks to the instructor's positive attitude, members always leave Cycle Bar classes feeling better than when they walked in.  Working out in group fitness classes can be super intimidating, so having friendly instructors at Cycle Bar is what led to their success early on.

It’s with a heavy heart I share in the announcement of CYCLEBAR closing at the end of June. Our last class will be Thursday, June 27th.
With only a handful of classes left with me on the bike, if you used to ride, or have ever wanted to ride, join me in the cycle theatre for a last few screams and cheers!
Let’s send her off the right way! #WeRideAsOne

The Lafayette location first opened in 2017 just a few doors down from Whole Foods at 4243 Ambassador Caffery Pkwy Suite 113, Lafayette, LA 70508 and has held countless community events to get people excited about moving and making fitness fun.

Now is the time to schedule your last few classes at Cycle Bar, especially if you have always wanted to give it a try. They will offer classes until the end of the month, and you can book online or using the Cycle Bar app.

In the past few months, other Cycle Bar locations have unexpectedly been forced to close. One of the top-performing studios in the country, NOLA Uptown, closed about four months ago. Members received emails informing them of the news with instructions on how to be refunded for credits not used. Members of the Lafayette location also received emails Monday afternoon informing them that they would be closing permanently at the end of June.

We reached out for further details on what is to come, or if there are any future plans; once we have more information, we will update the story.
