Popular Pizza Chain Opening Locations In Louisiana Walmart Stores

Walmart stores in Louisiana and several other states will begin welcoming one of the largest pizza retailers in their stores as part of a new collaboration.

When you walk into most Walmart stores, you expect to see a Subway near the entrance, and now you will also see Mr. Gatti's.

The exciting collaboration will begin after the end of this year. The plan is to open a total of 92 Mr. Gatti's locations in Walmart stores across Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, and Kentucky. Down the road, they will hopefully expand into other states. According to PR Newswire, this expansion doubles the brand's locations, with more than 230 open or being built.

Customers can expect a new design with counter service and a dine-in area where patrons can enjoy all their favorite Mr. Gatti's menu items, including pizza, wings, salads, sandwiches, and more. For optimal convenience customers can order their food through the Mr. Gatti's app before heading to Walmart to grocery shop or if customers rather have their order delivered that will also be an option available to them.

Mr.Gatti's CEO, Jim Phillips, says Walmart approached them about collaborating because they, "recognized Mr. Gatti's as a regional favorite with a 55-year legacy of delivering exceptional taste and experiences to our customers."

Mr.Gatti's was originally known as The Pizza Place before it rebranded in 1969. Now, more than ever, it is focused on growing and expanding into new areas. Amy White, Senior Manager of Business Development at Walmart, is excited about this new chapter.
