Joshua Broussard Announces Candidacy For Lafayette Parish School Board

Joshua Broussard has announced he will challenge Tehmi Chassion during November's Lafayette Parish School Board elections.

The former Lafayette NAACP president currently works as the admissions coordinator at a local nursing home.

Broussard attended J.W. Faulk Elementary, N.P. Moss Middle, and Northside High and then attended the University of Louisiana in Lafayette.

Jeremy Hidalgo and Brian West have already announced they will run in District 9, which is currently occupied by Rae Trahan. Mary Morrison announced her intention to run in District 1, which is currently Mark Babineaux's district.
