Lafayette & St. Landry Parish Road Closures Set To Begin Tuesday

In Lafayette, Director of Public Works Kevin Blanchard says Lajaunie Road at the Vermilion River/Woodpecker Road will be closed tomorrow (Tuesday) and Wednesday from 8 am to 2:30 pm as crews will make deck board replacements on Lajaunie Road Bridge. There will be detour routes made available.

In Opelousas, La. 749 (Railroad Avenue) between U.S. 190 westbound (Landry Street) and U.S. 190 eastbound (Vine Street), will be closed on tomorrow (Tuesday) from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. as crews conduct a traffic signal repair. The detour will consist of U.S. 190, La. 357 and La. 182.
