Louisiana Cities Facing Rising Financial Burden from Credit Cards

America has a problem with credit card debt, and it's a serious issue for everyone. This is no secret, but what is each family's average credit card debt? You will likely be shocked by the number. Here's what WalletHub had to share about the figures.

We have to pay the bills buy food, and with prices up 25% in the last four years just for food, it makes it difficult for us stay within our budget.

What Do We Owe?

The average American household owes more $10,700 in credit card debt and when you add all of that up for this year so far, we owe $1.3 trillion in credit card debt.

How Did WalletHub Figure Out What We Owe?

According to WalletHub,

WalletHub drew upon TransUnion credit data to calculate the cost and time required to pay off the median card balances in more than 180 U.S. cities.
