Olevia Robinson was told her son was causing problems in the classroom, and he was recently sent home on suspension after allegedly kicking another student. Robinson did what any parent would do and planned a parent-teacher meeting to discuss her sons 'behavior problems.' Teachers complained that her son 'just wants to get out of punishment' however, after watching the videos, it is very clear that has not been the case.

A teacher filmed her son, who can be seen wearing a yellow jacket, to show Robinson he was causing problems in class, but their narrative quickly unraveled once she watched the videos,"that video didn’t show anything about my son’s behavior. It showed children that were hitting on him."

Robinson tells WAFB that she believed the teachers at first until she saw the videos. Once she realized her son was the victim of what is being described as a 'Pre-K Fight Club,' she no longer wanted to meet with her son's teachers. Instead, she went straight to the principal.

In the video filmed on January 13th, you can hear one of the teachers laughing in the background. There was no sense of urgency from the faculty witnessing a child pining Robinson's son to the ground and punching him over and over.

Instead, you see a child step forward and attempt to defend Robinson's son when a teacher stops him, saying, "That ain’t got nothing to do with you.”

The EBR Schools Superintendent LaMont Cole says the adult's behavior in the classroom is 'appalling' and 'downright disgusting'. He hopes that the negligent actions of the two teachers in the video don't take away from "all of the other employees who come and do it right every single day."

However, Robison is looking for a new school for her son since he 'can't trust anyone' at Riveroaks Elementary School.

"Mentally, he was hurt. Emotionally, he was hurt. His trust was hurt. He can’t trust anyone at the school.”

Both teachers are under investigation and have been placed on administrative leave.
