Economic Development Secretary Stephen Moret says 2011 should see increased business and jobs for Louisiana. Louisiana's Secretary of Economic Development is optimistic that 2011 will be a good business year for the state. Stephen Moret says several industries that were struggling are showing string signs of recovery. Moret says business and employment opportunities in northern Louisiana are promising. (Moret says Next Autoworks will soon know if they'll get a big federal loan to start up their auto assembly plant in Monroe. He says 2011 will also bring more opportunities in the Lake Charles area with aerospace industries at Chennault Airpark.) Moret says there are good growth opportunities this year all over the state. He says it's shaping up to be another busy and profitable year for film & TV productions, but also says digital media is set to expand in Louisiana tis year. (Moret says that means more jobs and increased state revenues.)
