The 7th ranked LSU baseball Tigers suffered their first loss of the season yesterday, losing to Princeton 8 to 7. LSU was down 8 to 1, but scored six runs in the 8th and had the bases loaded with one out in the ninth, but could not push the tying run across. Coach Paul Mainieri says his team played a bad game. LSU pitchers walked eight batters and Tiger hitters left ten runners on base. LSU also committed two errors in the field. Right fielder Mason Katz says they'll look to learn from the loss. LSU senior right-hander Ben Alsup suffered the loss. He struck out seven but allowed three runs in four and two thirds of an inning. The Ruston native says he had trouble locating his pitches.
