LSU defensive coordinator Dave Aranda will remain at the school, after apparently flirting with another school.

The 43-year old Aranda, who makes a reported $2.5 million per season, and has been with LSU for the past four seasons, is was reportedly the focus of the coaching search at UNLV.

This morning, a report says that Aranda won't be leaving for UNLV however.

Another report followed, stating that Aranda will not be the next coach at UNLV.

The former offensive coordinator at Wisconsin from 2013-2015, Aranda left the Badgers to join LSU, replacing former defensive coordinator Kevin Steele.

Aranda has also served as defensive at Southern Utah (2008), Hawaii (2010-2011), and Utah St. (2012).

LSU is 13-0 this season and the top-ranked team in the country.

UNLV is looking to replace Tony Sanchez, who compiled an overall record of 20-40 over five years (2015-2019) as head coach of the Rebels.
