Police in New Orleans are looking for a man who dressed as Beetlejuice on Halloween in hopes he can tell them about an assault that sent two men to the hospital.

We're not making this up.

The Associated Press reported Wednesday night that the men were attacked in the French Quarter after refusing to let two strangers use their cellphone at about 1 a.m. on Nov. 1. The two men were hit in the back of the head and were knocked out, police said.

As one of the men was regaining consciousness, the Beetlejuice dressed man was standing over him and reassuring him that everything would be okay.

The younger man had a fractured skull, while the other needed stitches and staples for two cuts.
