Opelousas Man Breaks Into Car, Sets On Fire
(KPEL) -- An Opelousas man is facing jail time after allegedly breaking into car, stealing several items, and then vandalizing it.
Lt. Megan Vizena with the St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office says 19-year-old Kyron Doucet allegedly broke into the car on Saylock Lane in Opelousas. He set the car on fire after stealing several items, Vizena says.
Doucet was quickly located by deputies, and he was booked into the St. Landry Parish Jail on a $30,000 bond.
