A would-be thief in New Orleans got an explosive surprise when he broke into a pickup truck on Friday night.

Two people have been arrested in connection to a looting incident that occurred at the Acadiana Mall where over $1,000 in merchandise was stolen. According to reports, the two looters were questioned by police about the merchandise and arrested when they were involved in a traffic accident shortly after leaving the scene of the crime.

One of the two suspects pulled the victim into the home and struck him several times in the head.
