[OPINION] I Agree With Jindal On Something! [OPINION]

Wow! I think this is the first time in at least five or six years that I can say I actually agree with a statement made by our 'not running for President' Governor.

Governor Jindal slammed former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg for saying he had earned his way into heaven for his efforts on gun control. Bloomberg actually saId,

I am telling you if there is a God, when I get to heaven I'm not stopping to be interviewed. I am heading straight in. I have earned my place in heaven. It's not even close.

In response to that statement Governor Jindal, speaking at the NRA annual meeting said,

Seems to me like this is a guy who could learn some humility...And it seems like the NRA can be the first to teach him some humility in November.

All of this centers around Michael Bloomberg's plan to spend $50 million this year to motivate voters to curb gun violence. At present Bloomberg funds two gun control groups including Mayors Against Illegal Guns and Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America. Bloomberg plans to form one group to be called Everytown for Gun Safety to target 15 states where gun control legislation is a hot topic.

I guess Bloomberg has never heard the part about a person not being able to buy their way into heaven. What an egotistical, arrogant jerk!

So, I finally agree with statements from Governor Jindal. But remember his statement's were made to a meeting of the NRA. In that same speech Jindal used the opportunity to disparage President Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder. Could he have found a more susceptible audience?

With some of the statements Governor Jindal has made of late and the hiring of new PR person Sarah Haley if you think he is 'not running' you better get ready for a surprise when he makes the announcement.

I am pretty sure that Jindal's comments about Michael Bloomberg are the only thing I will agree on with him. I have been thoroughly disappointed in Bobby Jindal's lack of leadership and his vindictiveness.

I'll admit Bobby Jindal can be secure in the knowledge that he has snowed Sean Hannity to the point that Hannity can't see the sun for all the snow he is covered with.
