Pennsylvania Couple Face Prison After Son’s Prayer Deaths

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — A Pennsylvania couple who believe in faith-healing face 20 years or more in prison when they're sentenced in a Philadelphia court today for the death of their 8-month-old son.

Brandon Schaible (SHY'-bull), who died last year, was the couple's second child to have died without seeing a doctor.

Herbert and Catherine Schaible had a 2-year-old son who died of untreated pneumonia in 2009.

The Schaibles pleaded no contest to third-degree murder in the younger son's death. They have seven surviving children.
