Politicians Who Have Ignored Their Own COVID Rules

There's an oft-quoted line from the George Orwell dystopian classic, Animal Farm: "All animals are equal but some are more equal than others." And was there ever a better description of the hypocrisy and sense of entitlement exhibited by America's elected officials when they blatantly ignore the rules, regulations and laws that they impose on their citizens during the Coronavirus pandemic.

In a list that could go on for days, we've narrowed it down to the top half dozen. From getting on a plane just minutes after warning constituents not to travel, to attending a private fund raiser at an exclusive restaurant days after restricting the operating hours of all the others, to getting a private appointment with a hair-dresser during a shutdown of those specific businesses, politicians seem to not even hesitate before they rub their self-imposed privilege in our faces.
