Portion Of Atchafalya Basin Reopened

A four mile stretch of the Atchafalaya Basin has been reopened to boat traffic. Rising water levels had created a dangerous clearance level for boat traffic underneath high voltage transmission lines. The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries has determined the clearance level is now safe again.
