President Obama – You Can’t Always Get What You Want

The Rolling Stones sang "You Can't Always Get What You Want" and President Obama doesn't understand the line at all! When it's illegal, Congress doesn't approve it and the Supreme Court doesn't uphold something, that means you can't have it!

Last year President Obama told Univision that he could not sign an executive order to change immigration law allowing illegal aliens already in the United States to stay. This past week the President decided a year was a long enough period of waiting and signed a wide ranging immigration law that basically allows illegals to stay in this country if they came here before their sixteenth birthday, had not reached the age of thirty, graduated high school or received a GED or completed military service. In other words he is attempting to do by executive order what he said was illegal last year!

How low will this man go to earn votes for reelection? This move could effect up to 9% of the vote and certainly that is enough to swing a Presidential election. Does anybody remember 'hanging chads'?

This morning at the G20 summit in Los Cabos, Mexico Presidant Felipe Calderon said,

"I would like to thank personally, and on behalf of the Mexican nation, President Barack Obama for his valuable decision by executive order to give an opportunity for young people who were not born in the United States."

Certainly he wants to thank President Obama. Those illegals are fewer people the Mexican government has to worry about. Mexico no longer has to worry about educating, feeding, clothing or providing healthcare for people who flee to America. In addition they can send home all the illegal money they earn here so basically we are providing welfare assistance to citizens of a foreign country without going through the hassles of legal documents and dealing with the bothersome U.S. Congress. No wonder Calderone thanked the Megalomaniac in Charge. I certainly am not against immigration because without it most of us would not be here. However, we need to enforce legal immigration and put an end to any kind of amnesty for illegals who enter under cover of darkness and send American dollars south while legal American citizens can't find work. If Obama's desperate illegal immigration effort is not defeated before November I hope and pray that everyone makes the effort to vote and makes this man a one term President. I've always been told you have to know the rules before you can take the liberty to break them creatively and that explains Barack Obama's law degree.
