Section of La. 182 Closed For Nearly 1 Month As U.S. 90 Widening Project Continues In Lafayette Parish

La. 182, between St. Etienne Road and La. 96, will be closed until September 29 for bridge construction associated with the U.S. widening project. The work will happen Monday through Friday between 8 PM and 6 AM and Saturday through Sunday between 6 AM until 8 PM.

The project involves widening U.S. 90 to six lanes from Albertson's Parkway to north of the Ambassador Caffery intersection. The project will also construct an overpass along U.S. 90 above Albertson Parkway, a new railroad overpass and modify the adjacent frontage roads.
