Sen. Kennedy Questions Attorney General Barr On Mueller Report
“I think it was inevitable that some people were going to be disappointed in the results that Mr. Mueller reached. You can only be young once. You can always be immature. There will be some that will be so disappointed in the result that they’re going to attack the process in bad faith. I would strongly encourage you to ignore that. Just call them like you see them. Follow the law.”
That was how U.S. Senator John Kennedy started his questioning of Attorney General William Barr as the AG went before the U.S. Senate Commerce, Justice and Science appropriations subcommittee on Wednesday.
As you will see in the VIDEO BELOW, Sen. Kennedy's questioning seeks to establish the idea that releasing a full un-redacted report to members of Congress would present a significant risk that confidential grand jury information could be leaked to the public.
