LAFAYETTE, La. (KPEL News) - If you are planning on flying into or out of Lafayette Regional Airport today, you might want to make other plans. With the effects of Hurricane Francine on the Acadiana area getting progressively worse over the next several hours, Lafayette Regional has already started cancelling some flignts.

Early Flights Are Still Scheduled

Those who left early this morning were good to go, and those who have flights scheduled prior to 12:00 P.M. should still be able to fly out unless conditions deteriorate, preventing planes from taking off or landing.
