Speed Limits – Should They Be Higher?

A new highway being built in the state of Texas is going to allow travelers to drive at speeds of up to 85 miles per hour.  This is being done because the road is considered safe for that speed and it is being hoped that this will attract more people to the toll road because they can go faster.

What do you think?  Should we raise the speed limits on all of our highways?  What should it be?
