St. Mary Parish Man Arrested For Several Charges After Driving Under Suspension
Three people were arrested after a traffic stop by the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office just before 6 o'clock on Thursday evening.
Detectives with the Narcotics Division stopped 26-year-old Donald McCormick for crossing the center line of Highway 317 in the Centerville area yesterday.
Deputies spoke to McCormick and his two passengers, 35-year-old Anna Hebert and 47 year-old Danny Savoie.
Detectives say McCormick had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. They also found synthetic cannabinoids and rolling papers belonging to Hebert and Savoie in the car.
Each of the three are facing charges for the following:
- Donald McCormick, 111 Robicheaux Road, Verdunville, LA was arrested or driving left of center, driving under suspension, and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of burglary of an inhabited dwelling and the theft.
- Anna Hebert, 232 Wayne Lane, Centerville, LA was arrested or possession of Schedule I (synthetic cannabinoids), possession of drug paraphernalia, and abuse of toxic vapors.
- Danny Savoie, 1430 North Prairie Road Circle, Centerville, LA was arrested for possession of Schedule I (synthetic cannabinoids), possession of drug paraphernalia, and abuse of toxic vapors.
