St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Arrest Report
The following is a list of the people who were booked into the St. Mary Parish Jail for Monday, February 6, 2017:
Henry Bias, Jr., 65, 505 Gumpoint Lane, Franklin, LA was arrested on February 3, 2017 at 2:46 pm on a warrant for illegal possession of stolen things. The warrant was obtained following an investigation into a report filed in January of a vehicle that was stolen from a residence in Centerville. The victim left the vehicle at the residence with a subject for repairs over a year ago. The detective assigned to the case collected evidence that another subject, identified as Bias, sold the vehicle to a scrap yard. Bias was released on a summons to appear on court on May 10, 2017.
Paulina S. Boles, 36, 205 John Street, Baldwin, LA was arrested on February 3, 2017 at 7:41 pm for general speed law and driving under suspension. A deputy patrolling the Franklin area observed a vehicle speeding 60 miles per hour in a posted 45 miles per hour zone on Highway 182. The deputy conducted a traffic stop on Main Street in Baldwin and spoke with the driver who was identified as Boles. The deputy found that Boles was driving the vehicle with a suspended license. Boles was released on a summons to appear in court on May 10, 2017.
Edward J. Trimm, Sr., 62, 1014 Ciro Street, Siracusa, LA was arrested on February 5, 2017 at 8:25 pm for domestic abuse battery (by strangulation). A deputy responded to a report of domestic abuse at a residence in Siracusa. The deputy found evidence that Trimm placed his hands around a female victim’s throat and choked her. Trimm was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Trimm was released after posting a $2,500 bond.
Korianne Parker, 28, 308 Carol Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on February 5, 2017 at 10:09 pm for the following warrants:
- Warrant for simple battery and disturbing the peace
- Warrant for intimidating, impeding, or injuring witnesses
- Warrant for criminal trespass and unauthorized use of an inhabited dwelling
- Warrant for failure to appear on the charges of direct contempt, operating a vehicle without proof of insurance, careless operating of a motor vehicle, and failure to honor written promise to appear
The warrant for simple battery and disturbing the peace was obtained following an investigation that began on January 20, 2017 when deputies responded to a report of a disturbance at 308 Carol Road in Bayou Vista. The detective assigned to the case collected evidence that Parker engaged in an argument that escalated into a physical altercation outside of the residence between several suspects.
The warrant for criminal trespass and unauthorized use of an inhabited dwelling was issued following an investigation into a report of an unauthorized entry of a residence in Ricohoc in October. The deputy assigned to investigate the incident found evidence that Parker and another suspect entered onto private property and went into a home without the resident’s permission. The warrant for intimidating, impeding, or injuring witnesses is related to this investigation. The warrant was issued after a detective found evidence that Parker made threats to a victim via Facebook.
Parker turned herself in at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center after learning of the warrant for her arrest. Parker was released after posting a $5,750 bond.
Nicholas P. Fonseca, 30, 2524 Amanda Lane, Patterson, LA was arrested on February 5, 2017 at 11:55 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. During booking at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center, a correctional officer located the active warrant for Fonseca. No bail is set.
Michael L. Howard, 46, 1255 Stephensville Road, Morgan City, LA was arrested on February 5, 2017 at 11:48 pm for the following offenses:
- Driving under suspension
- Possession of (open) alcoholic beverages in motor vehicles
- Possession of Schedule II (methamphetamine)
- Possession of Schedule II (amphetamine, dextroamphetamine)
- Possession of Schedule II (Vyvanse)
- Possession of Schedule I (marijuana)
- Possession of Schedule IV (alprazolam)
- Possession of Schedule IV (tramadol)
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Warrant for failure to appear on the charge of domestic abuse battery
- Warrant for failure to appear on the charges of expired motor vehicle inspections, no motor vehicle insurance, failure to carry vehicle registration certificate
- Warrant for probation violation
A deputy received information regarding Howard’s whereabouts. The deputy located the suspect who was wanted on multiple warrants driving a vehicle on Highway 70 in Morgan City and conducted a traffic stop. During Howard’s arrest, the deputy found marijuana, pills, and a pipe containing burnt marijuana residue on Howard. The deputy also observed a pill bottle inside the vehicle containing marijuana. Continuing the investigation, the deputy located methamphetamine, additional pills, and an open container of alcohol. The deputy also found that Howard was operating the vehicle with a suspended driver’s license. Howard was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail is set.
Joshua Charles, 20, 122 Centerville Bridge Road, Franklin, LA was arrested on February 6, 2017 at 2:06 am for underage driving under the influence. A deputy observed a vehicle parked partially on the sidewalk and on the grounds of a church on Main Street in Franklin. The deputy made contact with the driver of the vehicle and identified him as Charles. While speaking with Charles, the deputy smelled the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath and person. The deputy also observed that Charles was slurring his words and had trouble maintaining his balance. Charles later registered a 0.145g% blood alcohol concentration on a breath test. Charles was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail is set.
Terrell Jackson, 30, 426 Ninth Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on February 3, 2017 at 3:40 pm for the following offenses:
- Criminal trespass
- Resisting an officer
- Possession of Schedule I (MDMA) with intent to distribute
- Obstruction of justice
- Transactions involving drug proceeds
Detectives with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Section observed a male subject walking through the backyards of several residences around Ninth Street. As detectives approached the subject, he attempted to flee on foot. Detectives detained him and identified him as Jackson. During the subsequent investigation, detectives located a bag containing over 3 dozen MDMA pills in the area where Jackson attempted to flee. Detectives collected evidence that the pills belonged to Jackson and located over $200 in cash on his person suspected of being derived from illegal drug sales. Jackson was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail is set.
Barry Burney, Jr., 55, 131 Barrone Street, Baldwin, LA was arrested on February 3, 2017 at 4:37 pm for no turn signal, possession of Schedule I (marijuana) with intent to distribute, and transactions involving drug proceeds. Narcotics detectives patrolling Baldwin observed a vehicle fail to signal a turn onto Lincoln Street and conducted a traffic stop. The driver was identified as Burney. While speaking with him, detectives received consent to search the vehicle and located 2 large bags of marijuana in the car. Detectives also found over $1,000 in cash suspected of being derived from the sale of illegal drugs. Burney was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Burney was released on a $5,000 bond.
