The following is a list of the 14 people who were arrested in St. Mary Parish:

Kristyn Parker, 23, 118 Stevens Lane, Franklin, LA was arrested on June 19, 2015 at 8:20 pm on a Lafayette Parish warrant for failure to appear on the charges of criminal mischief, resisting arrest, and simple battery. A deputy was dispatched to residence on Stevens Lane in Franklin in response to a request to remove a subject. The deputy made contact with Parker and located the active warrant for her arrest. The deputy transported Parker to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

Brittany R. Clement, 26, 628 Lagarde Street, Thibodaux, LA was additionally charged with resisting an officer (giving false information) on June 19, 2015 at 10:28 pm. A jailer at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center received information that an inmate being housed at the Morgan City jail facility had given a false first name of Ashley during booking at the parish jail on June 19, 2015. Clement was transported to the parish jail and booked on the additional charge. Clement was released on a summons to appear on court on September 16, 2015.

Denise Provost, 56, 315 Talbot Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on June 20, 2015 at 2:49 pm for theft of goods. A deputy responding to a complaint of shoplifting at a store in Bayou Vista received a description of a suspect vehicle and located the car travelling on Highway 90 in the Ricohoc area. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and located stolen items in the trunk of the vehicle. With the assistance of store personnel, the deputy positively identified the passenger in the car, Provost, as the female subject seen on video surveillance taking items from the store without paying for the goods. The deputy released Provost on a summons to appear in court on September 16, 2015.

David Maxie, 56, 4292 Highway 182 Glenco, LA was arrested on June 20, 2015 at 4:39 pm on Highway 90 near Highway 318 for aggravated assault and disturbing the peace (intoxicated). A deputy responded to a 911 call regarding a male subject pulling a knife on Acadian Ambulance personnel. Upon arrival, the deputy learned that the subject, Maxie, produced a knife and swung the weapon at Acadian Ambulance personnel while he was being transported to Franklin Foundation Hospital. The deputy took Maxie into custody. Following the investigation, the deputy transported Maxie to the hospital for treatment. After being released from the hospital, the deputy transported Maxie to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

Paige Henry, 24, 7261 Highway 182, Franklin, LA was arrested on June 20, 2015 at 5:09 pm for theft of goods. While at a store in Bayou Vista, a deputy observed a female subject concealing several items in her purse before leaving the store without paying for the goods. The deputy detained the subject and identified her as Henry. Following an investigation, the deputy released Henry on a summons to appear in court on September 16, 2015.

Alex Francois, 36, 508 Barrow Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on June 20, 2015 at 10:39 pm for no driver’s license, no license plate light, and on a warrant for failure to comply with the conditions of probation. A deputy patrolling the Amelia area conducted a traffic stop on Highway 182 Frontage Road on a vehicle with no license plate light. The deputy made contact with the driver, identified as Francois, and learned that Francois did not possess a valid driver’s license. The deputy also located an active warrant for Francois’ arrest. The deputy transported Francois to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

Lachristy D. Colbert, 24, 106 East Long Street, Baldwin, LA was arrested on June 20, 2015 at 10:37 pm for disturbing the peace (fighting).

Shameka Colbert, 30, 530 Branch Street, Baldwin, LA was arrested on June 20, 2015 at 10:37 pm for disturbing the peace (fighting).

A deputy working a security detail during a party at the West St. Mary Civic Center observed two female subjects, identified as L. Colbert and S. Colbert, fighting in the gym. Both subjects were transported to the parish jail for booking and were later released after posting $500 bonds.

Tammy Patrick, 39, 511 South Cemetery Street, St. Martinville, LA was arrested on June 21, 2015 at 9:07 am for disturbing the peace and resisting an officer. A deputy responded to a complaint of a disturbance on Sunset Boulevard in Cypremort Point. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that Patrick was yelling, causing a disturbance in the area. During the arrest, Patrick pulled away from the deputy in attempt to free herself. The deputy transported Patrick to the parish jail for booking. Patrick was later released on a $1,250 bond.

Sheila M. Sons, 30, O Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on June 22, 2015 at 11:02 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of remaining where forbidden and possession of Schedule I drugs. Sons turned herself in at the Patterson Police Department on the warrant. A deputy transported Sons from Patterson PD to the parish jail. No bail is set.

Lynette Hatten, 34, 521 Tiffany Street Apt. 21, Patterson, LA was arrested on June 22, 2015 at 12:06 am for failure to yield to emergency vehicles and driving while intoxicated. Deputies working on Highway 90 in the Centerville area observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate speed despite the presence of flashing emergency vehicle lights on the roadway. A deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver identified as Hatten. The deputy observed Hatten stumble as she exited the vehicle. Suspecting that Hatten was driving while impaired, the deputy conducted a field sobriety test on which Hatten performed poorly. Hatten later registered a 0.140g% blood alcohol concentration on a breath test. A deputy transported Hatten to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

Sergio Jimenez Sanchez, 26, 324 Lidena Street Lot #127, Shreveport, LA was arrested on June 22, 2015 at 1:16 am for the following offenses:

-     Failure to yield to emergency vehicles

-     Driving while intoxicated

-     No drivers license

-     Possession of open alcoholic beverages in motor vehicles

Deputies working on Highway 90 in the Centerville area observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed despite the presence of flashing emergency vehicle lights on the roadway. The driver of the vehicle failed to change lanes, locked up the brakes of the vehicle, and skidded of the roadway into the median. A deputy made contact with the driver of the vehicle, identified as Sanchez, and observed several signs of intoxication. The deputy also observed an open case of beer and several empty beer cans inside the vehicle. The deputy was unable to conduct a field sobriety test due to the intoxicated state of Sanchez. Sanchez later registered a 0.129g% blood alcohol concentration on a breath test. A deputy transported Sanchez to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

Julio Villavicencio, 32, 104 Railroad Avenue, Gibson, LA was arrested on June 22, 2015 at 3:27 am for second degree aggravated battery.

Ruth Rivera-Rodriguez, 38, 102 Landry Court, Bayou L’Ourse, LA was arrested on June 22, 2015 at 3:27 am for simple battery.

A deputy responded to a report of a cutting at a business on Highway 182 in Amelia. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that 6 subjects were engaged in an argument when Villavicencio produced a knife and cut a 29 year old male victim on his arm and torso. Also during the encounter, Rivera-Rodriguez struck a 34 year old male victim. Both victims were transported to Teche Regional Medical Center. Villavicencio and Rivera-Rodriguez were located in a vehicle at the scene. Following the investigation, a deputy transported both subjects to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.
