A lane on West Congress Street near Lafayette High will close for construction Nov. 17–24 as crews work on drainage, utilities, and traffic flow improvements.

A section of South Buchanan Street in Lafayette will close Sept. 1–19 for sewer line repairs. Drivers should expect detours near East Congress Street.

DOTD will have numerous upcoming road closures that you need to be aware of in relation to phase one of the Interstate 10 overpass project in Lafayette at I-49 (Evangeline Thruway).

The Louisiana State Police issued a travel restriction for a portion of Interstate 10 Eastbound headed to New Orleans.

The reason for the lane closure? A turn lane is being added to alleviate southbound traffic on Ambassador Caffery.

The closures are expected to begin at about 8 pm this evening and last until midnight.

DOTD is hoping that drivers will proceed with caution through this and all work zones.

DOTD hopes that residents will use caution when driving through this or any other construciton zone.

This is part of the ongoing Geaux South program that is being continued to help widen Highway 90.

There will be work crews and equipment to be on the lookout for during the work.

This road closure will be moving down the street as the work progresses.

At times the open lane will be restricted to 10 foot widths.

On Tuesday March 1, 2016, the right lane of Ambassador Caffery will be closed for road repair.

The eastbound right lane of the 3800 block of Congress Street will be closed.

Road repair work in New Iberia will close portions of South Lewis Street through Monday November 30th.

Road crews will be making repairs to the Elias Ackal Memorial Bridge through most of the day Thursday.

I-10 eastbound off-ramp will have one lane closed at Ambassodor Caffery Sunday.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development is informing drivers that I-10 westbound will be reduced to one lane near Scott. DOTD officials say the lane closure will start Thursday at 8 p.m. and lasting until 6 a.m.The  crew on scene will be repairing a damaged guardrail near Exit 97 in what is expected to be frigid temperatures...

DOTD says they will likely only need to close the lane between the hours of 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Thursday, November 20.
