According to Reuters, Target has announced plans close for Thanksgiving this year, following Walmart's announcement of the same plan last week. It also announced that it will start rolling out deals in October so as not to cause a rush of people at one time.

The plan is to lower the possibility of the spread of the coronavirus while allowing associates to spend quality holiday time with family.

Safely and socially-distanced, we hope.

Kudos to Target for acting to help ease the possible holiday burden on our hospitals and medical workers.
