With the President delivering his annual speech to Congress, you know that Fox News Radio's Todd Starnes has a take on it.  He called in to the Afternoon Drive Home and talked about the President's remarks and his plans for Mardi Gras.

Starnes talked about how there is a place in New York that is serving up Louisiana style cuisine and said that he planned on having a little something in honor of Mardi Gras.

When it comes to the speech, Starnes said,

We're not going to see anything earth shattering, but I am excited for one single reason.  Senator Steve Stockton from over in Texas...invited Ted Nugent to attend the State of the Union Address.  Ted Nugent is going to be mere feet from the President of the United States.

Starnes said that he was prepared with something that he called the EFD unit, which he said stood for,

Emergency Fertilizer Detection Unit.

Starnes also mentioned that he has some things coming up in his commentary that he does three times daily on KPEL.  He mentioned that a group of students are in trouble with their school because they chanted USA at their high school basketball game.  Starnes said that he would have more on that in the coming days.
